Policy Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all fees paid for Nomination Applications, Processing Fees, Registration Fees, and voluntary charitable donations made to the World Charity Welfare Foundation.
General Non-Refundable Policy (Fees and Donations)
All Nomination Application Fees, Processing Fees, and voluntary charitable donations are **non-refundable**. Fees cover the administrative costs associated with vetting, evaluation, verification, and processing your application. Donations are charitable gifts and are used immediately for program support, making them non-refundable.
Exceptions (Refundable Circumstances)
Refunds will only be considered in the following exceptional circumstances:
1. **Duplicate Payment:** If a payment is charged more than once for the same single transaction/service due to a technical error.
2. **Organizational Cancellation:** If the Foundation cancels an event, program, or service for which a specific fee was charged (not a donation), and no suitable alternative is provided.
3. **Unauthorized Transaction:** If the payment was demonstrably fraudulent or unauthorized.

Refund Request Process
Refund requests for the limited exceptional circumstances mentioned above must be submitted in writing via email to the official Foundation contact email within **7 days** of the payment date or cancellation announcement. Requests must include the payer's name, transaction details, amount paid, and clear evidence of the exceptional circumstance.
Processing and Timeline
Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method. Processing time is typically 10-20 business days, depending on banking procedures. The refund amount may be subject to deduction of non-recoverable payment gateway transaction fees.
